CITY OF RYDE SAFETY CAMPAIGN

The City of Ryde safety campaign was designed to raise awareness of safety in public spaces. The campaign Wide Open proposed was simplified graphic style that could be easily translated into Chinese and Korean.

The campaign roll-out included street advertising, mall advertising, leaflets and mini cards that were distributed through libraries and community centres.

It also included permanent metal signage in municipal carparks. The City Of Ryde has used Wide Open’s services for a number of campaigns over the last three years. We have been involved in branding and launching several new community facilities.

RYDE FAMILY SERVICES

Ryde Family Services provides a range of early intervention support services to vulnerable children, young people, families and adults of all ages who are experiencing a range of life stressors.

Wide Open was commissioned to rebrand the service and develop a new website that presented the organisation as a contemporary but approachable service. The website is fully responsive, acknowledging the fact that many in crisis would be searching for support on a mobile phone.

This means that all the phone numbers in the site can be called directly from the browser.

ONCE MY MOTHER WEBSITE

Once My Mother is an Australian produced, award winning, documentary film.

Wide Open designed and developed the website which includes online study materials and links to DVD purchase. We implemented Social Media and SEO friendly blogging to capture greater site visitation.

The film has been a great success winning multiple awards.

Wide Open enlisted many of the skills we had developed in online promotion for another successful Australian documentary, Mrs Carey’s Concert.


MRS CAREY’S CONCERT

Wide Open was involved in developing all of the promotional materials for this highly acclaimed Australian documentary. We attended photoshoots to generate key art images, created posters and flyers and press adverts. We also designed and built the pre-launch and subsequent ecommerce websites.

The highly anticipated film created so much interest that when it was reviewed on the ABC Movie Show the subsequent spike in traffic to the website took the site down temporarily.

Mrs Carey’s Concert was the opening film at the Adelaide Film Festival and went on to win numerous awards including AACTA Award for Best Feature Length Documentary, AACTA Award for Best Direction in a Documentary.


 

CITY OF RYDE PUBLIC ART GUIDES

The requirement for public art to be integrated into any major new developments is something that can be elusive for developers and those evaluating the proposals.

Wide Open was commissioned to source examples of public art in the greater Sydney area as well as within the City of Ryde.

Once we had these and approvals to use them in documentation we compiled a set of visual guidelines that could be utilised by the City of Ryde planners and certifiers as well as developers.

ROYAL CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL FOUNDATION

The Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation was established 25 years ago to fundraise, manage and distribute funds. Through philanthropy, they are changing the future of children’s healthcare.

Wide Open won the tender to rebuild the website with an easy to use CMS that would allow staff to maintain the site and update on a daily basis.
As the major marketing tool for the Foundation it had to be robust and work on mobile devices.
