Bayside Ski & Wake is a new outlet at Taren Point. Specialising in wakeboarding boats and accessories including boards, wetsuits boots and skis.

Cavi Developments newest project, Zinc Apartments is a bespoke residential development comprised of 19 soon-to-be-built apartments situated in a beautiful North Wollongong location.

Zinc Apartments engaged us to produce traditional marketing materials such as signage and marketing books a swell as a project website. We wrote all the marketing copy for web and print while our affiliate Search and Social Sydney, launched a social media campaign promoting the development and its website.

The website and social media accounts were launched at the same time, with marketing messaging to promote the apartments and the surrounding beachside neighbourhood of North Wollongong.

A six apartment luxury development at Merewether Beach in Newcastle, NSW, Bathers is situated on a stunning waterfront site. Wide Open were contracted to position this property in a suitable market.

The property was branded inline with the market we were targeting and a simple online presence was established.

Horizon is a residential development of 56 apartments in a beachfront position at The Entrance on the NSW Central Coast. Wide Open were commissioned to brand the project and develop online strategy and print collateral to attract off the plan sales.

Liaising with the project architects we supplied reference materials to guide them in rendering the interior and exterior views.

We created a full site wrap to locate the development for potential buyers and developed a Chinese language website and marketing campaign to complement the English language version. We mapped strategy and media placement for a 24 month campaign with regular reviews.

Sydney International Boat Show 2016 was the first for Marina Bayside. They launched late in 2015 with the radically redeveloped marina at Taren Point. The time was right to make a big (splash) impression.

A large interior exhibition space allowed the showcasing of their full range of boats. Marina Bayside distribute the Cayman series of Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIB). Wide Open developed the branding for this range in 2014. Our role in the Boat Show exhibition was to design large double sided banners to easily locate Marina Bayside among their competitors. We also created a pop-up portable display that can be re-tasked at other events. The updated brand identity added ‘Taren Point’ and the ‘Boats for Life’ sub brand.

The Boat Show was a resounding success for Marina Bayside. Using the “Boat Show Only” saw a large number of sales made at the event, across all categories and helped establish the new business and link it to its location, Taren Point.

A small vineyard in the Hunter Valley Dalkeith Estate, is promoting itself as an accommodation and function venue.

Wide Open was entrusted with the Dalkeith Estate brand development and its application to signage, website, stationery and wine labels.

Dalkeith Estate is unique in its offering of accommodation for large groups in a picturesque vineyard setting, close to the major event vineyards like Bimbadgen Estate.

ABESHOW is an opportunity for the Broadcast Industry to meet and present the latest solutions that empower the production and delivery of broadcasting content. The ABESHOW Conference and Workshops are held every 2 years, in 2016 it moved to Doltone House, Darling Island, Pyrmont.

Wide Open built the website with integrated ticket sales using WordPress and woocommerce. We also produced print marketing materials and conference schedules for Broadcast industry magazines. The cost of building the ecommerce site was easily offset by the ticket sales and the booking module can be re-tasked for other events for the exhibition company.

Lumina Broadcast Systems approached Wide Open prior to the SMPTE Trade Show in 2013. This major Broadcast Industry event is the time to showcase products and services for Broadcast Industries. Lumina had done very little significant promotion prior to this.


Wide Open updated the Lumina brand and designed a compact exhibition stand. So the stand would be easily located in the crowded exhibition space we suspended branded banners above the exhibit. The vertical banners and diagonal placement of the exhibition stand meant that it was extremely easy to locate and visible from all approaches.

The Lumina website was also rebuilt to include a full searchable listing of all their products and we applied SEO and links to Facebook. It is also now mobile friendly.

A 42 apartment development at The Entrance, NSW, Watermark is situated on a stunning waterfront site. Wide Open were contracted to takeover the marketing of this property due to lacklustre sales. There was a nominated 36 month timeframe to sell all apartments.

The property was rebranded inline with the market we were targeting and an extensive online campaign was generated including a short marketing video which was aired on Sky.

Print advertising was taken out in Chinese media, translated to promote aspects of the development that would appeal to Asian buyers. The campaign’s success was self evident, all apartments sold within 18 months with a $32m return.

Cayman Logo for Inflatable Hulls


Cayman Australia, are designers and manufacturers of inflatable and solid hull recreational (RIB) boats. They are entering an established market, however the design quality of their products are a standout at their price point. The first part of the process was to name the company. This involved research of competing brands, pricing, features and promotional strategies. After exhaustive research at marinas, boatyards and online, Wide Open developed the brand in close collaboration with the owners.

Once the name was established the brand development, including sub-brands, was applied in a range of materials and collateral. This included welded PVC transfers that can be applied to inflatable hulls and a responsive website that would link to dealers selling the boats in NSW and Queensland.

Cayman Series Branding


K2 Solar designs, builds and installs commercial solar energy systems for businesses throughout New South Wales. Wide Open was commissioned to update the K2 Solar brand, website and promotional collateral. Adding project galleries to the website that can be updated and maintained by K2 Solar staff.

Video galleries also added the ability to explain the process quickly, and works on desktop and mobile browsers. Extending the promotion of $0 upfront finance offer that makes solar installation so appealing, online and in print.
